Keep it simple. Or keep it snazzy with bling, pop and more! Picture My Life is the perfect Scrapbook, cardmaking, whatever project happy medium! Some projects showed exactly like what Monica shows in this video, extra embellished PML cards in a layout. I also saw them make cards, tags, used on standard scrapbook layouts and more. Weaving

Good Evening Everyone! Here is another super cute and super easy card to do for any occasion. I started with a simple 5 1/2" x 4 1/4 card base made with Daisy White Cardstock and then I cut strips about 1" in width and about 3" long from Ivy Lane paper pack as well as Gypsy Cardstock. This was a great opportunity to use up scraps of paper I had laying around (of which I have tons!) and then I wove them together making sure to try & give them varying start & end points. I think it turned out super cute and could easily be done with any complimenting patterns & colors. Super easy! I also used the Big Hug stamp set to add the sentiment 'Just Because' on the outside and in the inside I used 'Always in our hearts.' I added 'You Are' with my journaling pen just before the inside sentiment. I planned this to be for Mother's Day. I love how it turned out and I think that you all should give it a try! Buttons, Button & More Buttons

22 Buttons to be precise! I hope all of you are having a great day. Mine has been a little crazy and stressful, but we have finally gotten things sorted out for my MRI and should be getting in for that in the next couple of days. (Thank heavens!) It also means I'll be having more down time over the weekend and possibly longer if they find a fracture & decide on hip surgery. Not sure how I feel about that, but I'd like to be out of pain. For now I'll enjoy my down time and try to take full advantage of it!

I don't know how many of you saw my Sneak Peak last night on FB, but I used 22 Buttons in total for this super cute card. I honestly had no idea where I was going with this card when I started. I picked some colors I liked that were cute and girly. I used Sky Blue Cardstock from CTMH and I used some cute designed paper that I bought for $5 at Walmart (as cute as the paper is I have realized that quality is NOT reflected in those cute patterns!) I had trouble keeping the top paper smooth when gluing it to the very sturdy CTMH cardstock. Obviously I managed without too much damage.

Once I had the columns glued on, I was kind of stuck on what to do next. I had to think about it and actually this card sat in my stuff for about a week while I thought about it. Its really ok to do that. Take the time you need, unless of course you have a deadline! I saw some super cute cards on Pinterest that buttons grouped together in hearts and decided that's what I wanted to try my hand at it. Now it was a lot more complicated then I had thought and I had to play musical buttons. Trying to figure out where I had to place buttons in what spot and it took me a good 20 mins, but it looked super cute and I quickly attached each button with Liquid Glass (I seriously cannot live without that stuff!)

I made this card with Mother's Day in mind, but really it could be for Valentine's Day or birthdays. You know based on colors and set up, as well as sentiments it could be used for so many different themes and projects, not just cards! 'Dress' Up Your Card

Alright Friends, I have returned. Its been a rough month for me. Waiting for my sister to have her baby last month was crazy and I found myself out of town waiting for the big day. Which my new niece shares a birthday with my youngest, I thought that was pretty cool and so did he! During one of my stays prior to her being born, I managed to fall off the guest bed at my parents and hit my hip on the way down. I've spent the last two & a half weeks on bed rest while I've been waiting to get an MRI done, since they are pretty sure I fractured my hip. It sucks! And surprisingly for all the time I spend in bed, I haven't had much time or honestly desire to craft! *Gasp* I know shocking, huh?

I've been a little more crafty this last week and so here is the first of my  Mother's Day cards that I put together. I shared a sneak peak yesterday and now here is the project in full! I was actually inspired by a pin on Pinterest, which was a Dress Card, but was done as a Thank You for a wedding. I liked the unique shape and thought how great would it be to turn it into a Mother's Day card. I think it has soooo much potential. I kept it simple, especially since I was trying to figure it out. I love learning new things, but I often find myself go simple first and then playing with fancier ideas. I hope I'm not the only one who is kind of self conscience of their crafting ability! :)

I used CTMH Gypsy Cardstock for the card base, which I cut freehand into the dress shape and lined the inside with Daisy White Cardstock. I also used the Big Hug stamp set in Smokey Plum ink. I also used a black ribbon for the front of the card and used a cute Mother's Day stamp as well.

I had fun making this card and as I said has so much possibility! I would love to see other ideas and variations of this fun card! Don't forget to Get Crafty!
